Barbara Davis Employment Services was incorporated in 1987, registered with the Department of Consumer Affairs as a full-time placement service specializing in secretarial placement.

As the market evolved in the late ’80s, many of my steady clients asked if I could provide temporary services. BD Temps was born. In the subsequent years Barbara Davis Employment Services has thrived, as the industry has been revolutionized by the Family Leave Act.

Today Barbara Davis employs more than 500 employees annually. We have offices in Red Bank. Fourteen years after our founding, we are continuing to do business with many of the same clients we provided a service to back in 1987. We provide temporary, full-time and temp-to-hire employees in the areas of accounting, bookkeeping, marketing, human resources personnel and programming. We continue to provide professional support staff to small and large businesses, professional offices and nonprofit organizations throughout Monmouth, Ocean, Middlesex and Mercer counties.

I have had the opportunity to work with many wonderful human resources professionals and business owners. Many of our candidates are so pleased with their positions that they refer candidates and clients to us.

I have had the opportunity to develop and grow a business from a concept into a well-respected employment service that prides itself in taking the time and care in matching the job specifications of its clients with the employment needs and skills of our candidates.
