Barbara Davis, owner of Barbara Davis Employment Services, was honored with the Business Owner of the Year Award at the Central Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners Platinum Star Awards dinner Sept. 12. The award recognized Davis' significant contributions as a professional business owner. Barbara Davis Employment has been in existence 19 years and has locations in Red Bank and Freehold. It places approximately 500 full-time regular and temporary employees to meet clients' needs. Davis recently launched Joint Vistas LLC with business partner Rich DeCrescenzo. The company serves as a consulting business to help small to mid-size corporations reach the next level of efficiency. She will also be teaching a business consulting course at Brookdale Community College, Lincroft section of Middletown.
